Remote Senior PHP Developer Full Time

onecontact TECH is looking for a Senior full stack developer with 5+ Years of experience developing web applications, who has a design sense, strong work ethic, self-motivation and a passion for delivering high-quality work on tight timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

Create WordPress themes, plugins, widgets, and shortcodes
Participate in Agile methodologies like Sprint and Scrum
Contribute to design and architectural decisions
Do peer code reviews to ensure high-quality code is delivered
Take ownership of key aspects of development projects and help ensure successful delivery
Champion best practices, approaches, and processes
Learn new tools and investigate new solutions for the best fit
Job Requirements:

5+ years of experience in web application development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
You are fluent in English and is able to communicate with clients and discuss complex tasks
Strong experience in developing WordPress plugins and themes
Strong experience with PHP and MySQL or PostgreSQL and basics of query optimization
Experience developing within an MVC framework (e.g., Laravel)
Experience with CSS3, Sass, LESS, HTML5
Familiar with JS frameworks (e.g., React, Bootstrap, Redux, jQuery, Angular 2+)
Familiar with PHPUnit/Selenium
Familiar with Bitbucket or GitHub
